To nurture among Zion’s members the growth of relationships and a greater sense of belonging and commitment to Christ’s family here at Zion.
To create an atmosphere of hospitality throughout Zion, through food, fellowship and positive first impressions to our family and facility.
To participate in making Zion a vibrant, safe and welcoming community hub and to actively reach out to our neighbors to join us in fellowship.
To provide “bridge” activities for the un-churched to enter our doors, experience the love of God through the people they meet here, and feel welcomed and comfortable to further explore the Christian faith.
Parish Fellowship plays a significant role in knitting together the family of Zion as a cohesive body. As we move forward to fulfill our mission and build the vision, we trust you will join us in our ministry through your attendance at, support of, and ideas for future Parish Fellowship events. We especially are looking for volunteers to step forward to coordinatethis team, as you see most of the planning has been completed; and we emphasize how important it is that you do sign-up in advance of activities using the pew clip boards, the narthex bulletin boards, or by contacting the church office or event coordinator so that we can appropriately plan for successful events.
Bringing all people to Jesus Christ and membership in his family, nurturing them to Christ-like maturity, and equipping them for their ministry in the Church, and their life-mission in the world, all in order to magnify God's name.
